Good Dad Bad Dad Empty
PostSubject: Good Dad Bad Dad   Good Dad Bad Dad EmptyThu May 19, 2011 4:03 pm

Hello
I have been reading lots of the posts on breeding and have been able to get my bristlenose to lay a batch of eggs. All the tips I have picked up here have been great.
I thought I would share a funny thing that happened this morning in my breeding tank. Because my male is on his 1st round of eggs he kept tossing them out of his cave. So I stepped in and got a mesh egg saver that is floating above his cave. The babies have hatched and are doing well. So this morning I get up and check on them and everyone in the tank is doing great. I have a shower and come back and somehow the male climbed over the mesh egg saver and joined all his babies. He was just hanging on the side of the mesh in front of the babies guarding them. So even though he could not get a grip on the eggs in the tank he has made up for his actions by jumping over the egg saver to try to be a good dad.
Good Job
