| Here is another pic, the babies don't come out in the pics. The mum has her mouth full of food and the male is close behind. | |

| well we have another batch out of the same female (haven't had any out of my smaller girl).
Has anyone got any ideas on how I could get the fry out of the tank?
I want to get them in a larger grow out tank. I have tried to no avail with an airhose (trying to suck them out) and I don't want to disturb the tank too much. They just go into the shells and DO NOT come out, in fact I had to transport the parents in their shells!

I would have to dig out a lot of the shells as they don't all go into one, they scatter. Plus if one is just hiding in between I could squish it. The extra shells in the tank prompt the adults to breed as well. I appreciate your advise but would rather not move all the shells around. Maybe I will just wait until they get a bit bigger and there are some more batches of fry and then move the parents into a larger tank where new fry could easily live until they are a decent size... sorry thinking out loud... I will get an updated pic of the tank up tomorrow (lots more shells in there and the sponge filter is nice and buried.

| Finally got a pic of the fry (or at least one of them). FTS (they have done some redesigning of the shells) I think the 2nd female has eggs or babies of her own now | |
