Does anyone have an Aqua-nova NCF1000?

I have had mine since December and i did the dreaded clean out & media change over the weekend, Now the stupid thing will not pump properly (reduced flow rate) It is pumping less than my internal 550lph.

I have primed it - looked like i was giving CPR & felt like it too - so i know there is no air inside. It is a little noisy...

HELP the shop i bought it from is not open for another 4hrs

Our turtle passed away unexpectantly. We were not sure what happened so we did a complete overhaul & clean out...

fair enough. I would pull it apart again and give the impeller and its housing a good clean up. Check the shaft for damage too. then reassemble and see how it goes. They are a cheap filter. Mine lasted about 3 years before the seal went and flooded the living room. upgraded to an eheim and never looked back.
