I wonder if anybody has tried Tetra Pleco Wafers with Bristlenosses and if it is a good stable food to use ???

i have some of the waffers and most of my bristle nose had rather have fresh vegs. when i put a waffer in the tank they eat part of it but i have to throw part of it away . i would guess if they don`t get vegs. and the waffer is all they get then they mite like them better

Can't go past hikari when it comes to algae wafers. Basically the best on the market and all bn and plecos love em Smile Also a really good dry food for conditioning and feeding omnivore plecs are Sera Viformo tabs. Never seen any fish turn down they're nose at it!

I will keep an eye out for Hikari. I think there is a shop I can order it from.

I give them vegetables as a treat about once a week, but as a staple I like to use something I can grab of hand.
But finding the right one is always a little tricky.
