i keep normal bn nd peppermint bn and albino. my normal breed REALY good they have being breeding since the day i got them! and i get 100-200 egg a week 2m4f and i jut go1m 2f peppermints at breedng size. what im askig is how long do yu hav to wait for them to breed?? i was told 8 months from doug my freind sai his went in 5 weeks! what do ou think? | |

| I will expand on my comment. It does depend on various things. Mine were a new trio made up of one experienced female and an inexperienced female and male. The swaps around plus the fact they had not bred before meant a long settling in period. If you bought a pair of seasoned breeders then a few weeks is not out of the question. | |

| ok.. they are a breeding trio but i sold 1 male and got a new male (he is a breeder too) just to mix it up.. | |
