| Hi I'm about to get a trio of these cuties but would like to know how to sex them (as in identification M/F). I have been told they are about 6cm and 6 months off breeding age so would really like some idea if there are any distinguishing features at that stage of development. Sorry, I have no photos of them yet. | |

| Adult males have "hairy" pectoral fins. I don't know any other way to tell. You might have to wait a bit to sex them. | |

| Thanks Kris, Yeah, kinda reminds me of when I got hairs on my pectorals Problem is, if they are all males, or all females, I will have nothing to compare Anyway, I got them a few days ago and not received as described, half the size in fact So maybe another year or so before I have babies, if at all | |
