Day spent in cave together but both out and about today?

My bns spent a full day in the cave together yesterday, she came out a couple of times but stayed close and went back in after about 5 mins, both didn't touch their veggies.

Thought they may be spawning, but today the male has been out eating twice that I know of and is sometimes sitting outside the cave.

Have they spawned and it all gone wrong or were they not spawning at all and just hanging out together in the cave?

Haven't had a chance to check out the female to see if she is slimmer, she's not been on the glass today, or at least not that I've seen. She did look nice and plump the other day but no fatter than the male really. He's more triangular whilst she is oval but both equally as wide!

Hi,they sometimes do this a couple of times before they actualy spawn.You should be getting eggs in the next few days I would say.Just be patient and let them get on with it.Try not to keep looking in the cave as it may well put them off.

Thanks, it is their first time and they have only been together for a couple of weeks. Can't see into the cave very well but the tank is in an area where theres lots of activity in the house, hope that doesn't put them off!

if they are anything like mine it wont pot them off my breeding tank is in a busy area in my house
