| Here is a link to the product so you know what I am referring to. http://www.amazon.com/API-Algae-Eater-Alage-3-7-Ounce/dp/B005XDCNCC
IT seems that these wafers expand GREATLY in the water. I know this is to be expected with dry food being placed in water, but I was not prepared for the degree of expansion I noticed. The plecs seem to eat it right away, but I am wondering if it expands in their bellies like pasta would in us. They always seem sooooo fat and enlarged after they eat this that I usually wait a day or two to feed them again. I have fed this about 5 times now and every time I fear they have bloat. After a day or two of not eating everything has passed through fine. I don't think I'll continue this product with my BNs.
Anybody else have similar or dissimilar experiences with this product? | |
