Mooo's got Bn eggs...Woohoooo! My First time...

Hi fellow bn breeders lol
I can say that now, Cos I got eggies Yay!! My First time...
I have had a fembot bn for well over a year now, I usually get them tiny & give them back when they are larger, as I breed rams and other delicate fish, I was really only keeping them for tank cleaning, But this fembot has my heart, she has great markings and has never had a hubby till now, Her hubby is only about 9 months old, nothing special, but I kept this one also, grew him up a bit, then a month or two ago I introduced them to each other, fortunately they got on well, ...Sooo......I made a cave for them,..
As soon as I place it in their tank, The female dove right in..lol
I bearly got my arm out of the water lol..She was very keen,
Then Mr Bn, sculked about for a while, looking in, then they swapped back and forth, She was in there, then he was in there, then her again and so on, then that afternoon, I noticed she was in there with him..
Then I seen strange behaviour from the male, He was upside down with his mouth outside the cave open to the water, he was sucking a heap..but looked like he was sucking water...& he was fanning with his bottom 4 fins. Even outside the cave, must be an involuntary thing when they're on eggs ? He is just a lad tho, It looks like he is dancing to a beat lol..
The photos with her head poking out is her actually laying her eggs. Amazing stuff & I got to watch the whole romance ..

Great news on a confirmed spawn for you Mooo, just be aware they are like the "energizer bunny"-
they keep going and going and going.

Yes I have heard they never stop once they begin, so the Mrs will be removed in the very near future,
How long till Dad allows them to leave the cave?

Congrats mooo..well done..

High Mooo , I suggest removing the male as to not disturb the female with her ways,
you know what blokes are like - you can remove him for a while and when she's ready to breed again put
the male back and he'll have no problem hunting down a mate.

I gotta say, I'm pretty darn chuffed with myself & with the parents, I seem to have kept the right ones....So thats a big clutch ey, Awesome stuff..
I am only practicing on these two, I am collecting longfins, to start breeding those on a more continuous basis, as I have never ever seen any locally, so I am gonna try & corner the market...Once they all grow up that is, As some of you know, I have two longfins currently growing on well(an albino & a common), & I have another half a dozen or so..coming next week hopefully...
