I have observed 2 of my 3 Clown Plecos behaving oddly. They are sitting on the sand at the bottom of the tank (near some courgette) facing away from each other with their tails touching. Not odd you may say but they are tail slapping each others tails? I'm wondering if this could be an indication of territory dispute, fight over the food or just a strange pass time they have?!?

I have been unable to establish with any certainty if the if i have a 2 males & 1 female as they are still quite small (around 2 inches). It was bizzare to watch and there appears to be no real aggression so i'm not overly concerned. I will have to see if this continues and report further.

That sounds like the courtship of L204 or L075. They do it before mating.
