| lol... oh yvette, why oh why did you need save your old stockings....lol
easy solutions are use sponge filters or just put some filter media around the canister...
or get those old stocking out, but make sure the stockings dont leach colour into the tank.

| I went to a pond shop and got a sponge prefilter for my grow out tank. that stops the fry getting sucked up. | |

Hi Doug, if I put a sponge over the inlet woul it affect the flow of the filter? | |

| not really, there are sponges in the cansiter filter so its not like ur adding too much sponge. if you want (and what i did) is remove some of the internal sponges, though i did it because it meanti could have some more rings in there | |

| sponge over the inlet works really well i use this stips my shrmips and fry getting anywhere | |
