| Now i know this might be a little irresponsible of me but one i got given a small BN to look after and i have no idea which it is, i have a new found love for these guys, my new fav fish just want to be able to look after him they way need so identifing him would be kool if any one fancy the challange, although i think its proberbly a Bristle nose plect with a bit of a white tail, hummmmm, still thanks in advance you guys, BN's newest fan link to a pic of the fish, (he's aprox 2" long and no real signs of bristles on the nose, would that indicate a female, although he does like hiding in the cave i have made him) Fred the BN - http://www.newrockmusic.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/Fred.jpg (pic is uploaded to the back of one of my websites) | |

| I can third the statement of it being a common, bit little guy. It is the right size for bristles to start popping up now, so as the others have said, an above pic or even a close up of its head would help everyone to identify its gender. Try chucking in a bit of watermelon in the tank every now and then. BN's have a sweet tooth and absolutely love it. A nice treat for them. | |
