I am really hoping the bottom pic (LF calico) is a female, ::fingers crossed!::
The top pic is of my LF common male.

They're on the same piece of cucumber in these pics so you can see there is quite a size difference at the moment. What do you guys think?

Thanks Smile I had a friend over yesterday who is also raising some briatlenoses. He says to me how excited he was that his male's bristles are growing then he sees mine and says his still has a long way to go, lol. I told him not to fret, this male is probably 5 years old! Which brings me to a question.

Do you think him being 5 years old and never mated before going to effect my breeding efforts? I never really thought about it till just now :/

The calico's body is about 2" or roughly 5cm. With her tail included I'd say 3-3.5".

Hi,i don't see any reason why he will have any problems. His maturity will be an advantage and i am sure he will be a great dad.Just try not to disturb him while he is doing his duties.Good luck with it and keep us posted on their progress Very Happy
