Thanks.

Have you a rough idea on how many sheets a can will do?

What brand spray adhesive was it you used?

I know it's only early days atm but is there anything you would change?

Sorry for all the questions but just hope mine turns out as well.

I used 3 cans to do all the sheets( 9sheets)
I cant remember what brand it was,it was about £5 per tin,was a spray contact adhesive.Spray both bits, leave to dry and then press together.

I think the only thing i will chnage are

1- Move the thermostat from above the door, and re-fit the other end.
2- Fit an extractor fan,as i think its going to get hotter than i want in the summer.
i have the thermostat set at 26.5,But some of my tanks have heaters that are set at 29,(Discus/Zebra plecs) i think these tanks are acting as radiators, the temp can rise to 28 in there if left for 18hrs.At the moment its not a problem but i am wondering if in the summer it wi;ll get to 30+ degrees. If i have too will fit an extractor in the top of the door, with a 2nd thermostat that turns it on when it gets to 29-30.

That's brilliant thanks.

Being a marine setup its going to be centralized so thermostat will be in the sump which will control the heater and chiller.

I've planned to put an extractor fan in but one of the cheap heat exchange one's, as in the winter a normal one will pull in cold air etc.

This is the one I'm looking at. It's one of the cheaper ones so not too sure how good it will be with the heat recovery but it should help. Main reason I'm looking at this one is due to the boost feature which means throughout the year I can leave it on trickle and when the weather changes I can turn it onto boost etc.

Looks good that.

Let me know if its anygood.

Like you say dont want to vent to much heat out

To be honest the tube heaters very rarely come on.

Think the discus tank and zeb tank both at 29 degrees, heat the room
